Pizza of All Pizzas

I was a foodie once – a massive eater sort who would remain among the top performers in any buffet dinners. That idea kind of lost on me over the years … until recent months made me explore my passion once again. The new me now relies less on quantity of food intake but rather on diversity of it.

On this quest of diversity to discover good food, i was introduced to 14th Street Pizza Co. quite a while back, but I didn’t try it all this time. Reason? they didn’t have a dine-in place… and my residence was way out of their delivery area. *sigh* bad luck… Until today!

while aimlessly browsing through their website, i just realized that they have started another outlet at a place which is not too far from my place… In a sudden instance, i picked up the phone and dialed in, reluctantly asked if they delivered at my area… after a few inquiries about my neighborhood they said they will deliver

Yayyyyyyyyyy!!!! yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! I was about to have the infamous 14th Street Pizza.

Cometh the hour, cometh the man… my pizza was delivered on time at my doorstep. and when he opened the container on the back of his motorbike, my hands and legs started to shiver for the pizza box was bigger than i had imagined. i had to struggle with the box to squeeze it through the door and had trouble finding the right place to put the pizza box as none of the tables (with the exception of dining table) at my residence had ample space to place that box.

Then came the time to open the box, and the size of the actual pizza shocked us all. The pizza was MASSSIVE! yes, HUUUGEEEE. The picture below is a comparison of an adult male and female hand against the size of the pizza. Seems like i had ordered a pizza which is probably more than my whole family could handle…

Tasting the big boy, the pizza tasted great. if considering pizza hut’s pizzas as measuring stick then this pizza matched the taste well.. it had stuffed crust, generous topping (the meat , cheese and veggies), and was delivered quite hot. I had to use my serpent skills to open my jaw wide enough to accommodate the pizza slice down my throat

As I write this review, the pizza still lies on the kitchen table with three slices missing. with me planning to stay awake the whole night, i have a strong feeling that tonight is gonna be a busy night for my mouth and my stomach.

and now that 14th Street Pizza Co. is reaching out to an extended audience, i am sure most of us who try them aren’t going elsewhere again

Pizza Hut, you are in for a tough time in the coming days.
